My wife Rebecca and I moved to North Carolina about seven years ago and quickly became fans of the state's craft beers and brewers. Since then, we have visited breweries around the state, attended NC brewfests, and sampled NC beers from beer stores, restaurants, grocers, and brewpubs.

My educational background is chemical engineering, and I spent most of my career in industrial sales and supply chain management. Rebecca's background is in corporate education, training, and communications, and she moonlighted in food and wine writing for about 15 years. When we were ready to leave our corporate careers behind, we decided to use our talents and expertise to follow our support the community of NC brewers while pursuing our passion for great beer and food.

There are a dizzying number of breweries in NC — more than 400! It is our goal to visit as many of them as possible and share our experiences with you.

We will help you with questions, like: What are the best brewers in Wilmington\Charlotte\Greensboro? What beers are they known for? What's the vibe at their taprooms? What are their stories?
